Extension line socket (tow line board, row plug) is often essential to use in our life, but if the use is not standardized, do not pay attention to, often lead to fire. We need to remind and strengthen our vigilance.
Before use, check the power and rated current of the electrical appliances to ensure that the total power of all appliances to be inserted in the same row is less than 2500W (at present, the voltage in most occasions in China is 220 V, considering the wire diameter and current carrying capacity, the actual power of the patch board may be less than 2000W)
In short, do not overload or use patch panels in series.
Pay attention to waterproof:
(1) Do not touch the plug when your hands are wet;
(2) Do not put it in the place that may splash water, drink or liquid solvent;
(3) If there is water or dirt or dust inside the socket, do not use it; it is better to clean the dust and hair on the surface of the drain plug in time (the premise is that the plug should be powered off first);
The power cord should not be too long, twisted or twisted
(1) If the power cord is too long, it will easily lead to winding, bending or twisting, and trip people;
(2) If the power cord is wound, bent or damaged, do not use it, which may cause fire due to local overheating;
(3) Moreover, it is not possible to heat or transform the power line and plug.
If there are infants and young children at home, special attention should be paid not to place where infants and young children are easy to reach. At the same time, remind and warn infants not to touch and use, and inform them of the danger.
It is better not to use the plug-in board on the floor, in case of water leakage on the ground, it is easy to cause electric shock; moreover, walking, pressing and friction will accelerate the aging of the power line, and finally cause wire damage and short circuit.
After using the rear plug-in, remember to turn off the power switch or directly turn off the main power supply of the switch; it will also be dangerous to forget to turn off the power switch of the patch panel after power failure; the plug should be completely inserted into the socket, and if it is loose, only a part of it will easily lead to electric shock.
